“The Commissary recipe, far-east-county drive-thru”
Collierville Commissary carries the Commissary brand's Mid-South recipes to the far-east edge of Shelby County, on Houston Levee Road. It serves the same Memphis-style ribs, pulled pork, and Southern sides that made the original a regional name, with the added convenience of a drive-thru for the suburban rush. The cooking runs the familiar Commissary line: dry-rubbed ribs available wet or dry, smoked sausage with a real casing snap, and a pulled pork sandwich stacked in the house style. BBQ nachos come loaded for the table, and plates arrive homestyle and generous in a casual roadhouse room. For east-county families who do not want to fight traffic toward the city, it is the closest tap into a recipe book that has fed the Memphis suburbs for years, delivered without the drive west.
Brings the longtime Commissary recipe lineup to far-east Shelby County, drive-thru included. The wet-or-dry ribs and smoked sausage travel the whole distance from the original intact.

Collierville Commissary serves Memphis Style barbecue — Memphis BBQ is rib country. The great debate is wet vs. dry: dry ribs are coated in a paprika-heavy spice rub and served without sauce, while wet ribs are glazed with a tomato-vinegar based sauce. Memphis also claims BBQ spaghetti and the BBQ nachos.
